Marie reached out to me about a year after our maternity session. This time, it was to capture her daughter's first birthday, which was also a big family gathering. I photographed a mix of documentary-style moments as well as family portraits. It's always such a joy to reconnect with clients, especially when I get to meet the new little one who was still in mommy's belly during our last session!

I photographed Mom and Dad's wedding a few months after this session. When future brides and grooms already have children, the engagement session becomes a mix of engagement and family moments. We had a blast exploring the park, playing in puddles, and chasing Daddy with a muddy stick. It was a joyful and memorable experience!

If you ever visit Paris with your kids, Palais Royal is a fantastic spot for them to roam and play. You'll see plenty of tourists and locals climbing on the cylinders, capturing fun photos and enjoying the atmosphere. Another one of my favorite locations for photoshoots is Place de Trocadéro, where you get a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower right in front of you. It's a perfect backdrop for memorable family moments!

As a mom of two, including a very shy boy, I understand how stressful a photo session can be for parents.
I remember praying that my little one wouldn’t cry or refuse to cooperate during our studio sessions. I was shy myself, often hiding behind my mom.
Some kids are naturally shy, while others are full of energy and can’t stay still in front of the camera. I tailor each session to fit your family’s needs, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. A big smile is wonderful, but all expressions—whether it’s a crying face, an angry face, a sulky look, or a funny expression—are just as adorable. Let’s embrace the uniqueness of your kids and let them be themselves!

After we chat and decide we are a great fit for each other, we'll pick a date.
Next, you'll receive a link to sign your agreement, along with an invoice for your retainer and a questionnaire. Once you sign the agreement and I receive the retainer, that's it! We are all set!
The more I get to know your family beforehand, the better I can anticipate those special moments during the session, ensuring the final pictures truly reflect what you’re looking for. We can talk about your favorite family activities, your kids' personalities, and what matters most to you in your family life.
It’s also helpful to let your kids see that we’ve already connected before the session. That way, they’ll feel more comfortable and at ease right from the start!
3. video call
For our outdoor session, weather can be a bit unpredictable. If the forecast isn't looking great, we'll stay in touch a few days in advance to decide on the best plan if it rains. I’ll be flexible, so there’s no need to worry!
If the weather is nice, we’ll meet at the chosen location. Please try to arrive a bit early to avoid rushing your little ones—stressed parents can lead to stressed kids! If you happen to be running late, just let me know. I understand that kids have a knack for creating little crises when time is tight.
Come relaxed, and let’s enjoy our time together! You can let your children be themselves. As a mom of two and a former preschool teacher, I’m well-equipped to handle little ones. Remember, smiling parents lead to smiling kids. Let’s have a great time!

Get ready for the exciting part! Session galleries are typically available for viewing within a week, and I strive to have them ready as quickly as possible.
Once the gallery is set, we’ll schedule a viewing session. You can choose to meet online, in the comfort of your home, or even at a café.
During the session, you’ll have the chance to explore all the images, and I’ll present the artworks I’m suggesting. Feel free to select the collection that best suits your needs and consider the artwork credits.
You can make your decisions during the session or take your time afterward—I won’t rush you.
If you’d prefer an online session but want to see some product samples to feel the fabrics, just let me know in advance, and I’ll be happy to show them to you after our session.

Artworks
Digital Data Doesn’t Last Forever.
If your computer or hard drive fails, you risk losing everything—or facing costly recovery fees. Technology has evolved dramatically; from floppy disks to CD-ROMs, USB drives, and external hard drives, storage tools have changed significantly. Who still has a PC with a floppy disk drive? Today’s computers often don’t even include a CD-ROM reader, and I personally find it challenging to retrieve my old student photos from CDs.
High-quality albums and framed prints, on the other hand, can stand the test of time. For instance, after the devastating tsunami in Japan in 2011, volunteers worked tirelessly to recover albums and prints so families could reclaim memories they thought were lost forever. I have photos from my childhood, taken 40 years ago, that are still intact—something that’s unlikely if stored solely on a phone or computer.
Printed Pictures Hold Their Value.
Photos truly come to life when printed and displayed. While smartphones and PCs offer convenience, finding images in folders can be a hassle, and tiny screens don’t do justice to the beauty of your pictures. An album makes them easily accessible and enjoyable.
Time is Money.
In our busy lives, we often don’t take the time to create albums or print photos. I’m guilty of this myself—I have countless pictures of my kids but have fallen behind on creating albums. With my sessions, you’ll receive at least one physical artwork to display in your home, saving you the time and effort.

I've thoroughly vetted printing services and artisans to ensure the highest quality for your artworks. This saves you time, as I've already done the research. I can bring samples so you can see and feel the quality yourself and choose with confidence.
After 7 years in Houston, we finally decided to take photos with the bluebonnets. Why did we wait so long? Because I felt that the results often lacked that spark, the twinkle in the eyes that Nao knows how to create when you work with her. Genuine and natural smiles were also missing. The flowers themselves are important, but everything else tells a story too—our story. A beautiful tree in the background to enhance certain shots, advice on clothing—nothing is left to chance.

Through multiple photo-shoots in different set ups, from the home documentary style to an outdoor bluebonnet session, to a studio-style session, Nao was able to capture the magic of each moment in the different atmosphere.

Christmas session was the first time with Nao, it was an amazing experience. My 3 children were so excited to open boxes with decorations and to put them on the Christmas tree.
